How hard is it to change a timing belt on a 94 cavalier?

Very hard. You have to worry about lining timing marks up properly. If you haven't done it before get a friend who has to help you.How hard is it to change a timing belt on a 94 cavalier?
Very hard!!It takes alot of effort!@!And it ur not an expert it requires a lot of timeHow hard is it to change a timing belt on a 94 cavalier?
IF YOU WANNA KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO DO GO TO ALLDATA ONLINE IT WILL WALK YOU THROUGH STEP BY STEP
this can be very tricky and like someone said above make sure you have your marks lined up and on some cars you have to make sure that your number one piston is up.also i know that on hondas if you don't get the timing right and you try to start the car if it back fires it may bend the valves in the motor and strip the timing belt but just take your time and don't rush
what engine? it has a chain or gears....no belt
They have never been a timing belt on any year cavalier. All cavalier engines use timing gears and chain.
I have to agree with the last two guys. No belt on this one, only a chain and gears. Unless its making noise, or has an excessive amount of slack (which is almost unheard of on those engines) I wouldn't worry too much about it. Chains are pretty solid and very, very rarely break.
